Somewhere in 2020, I made a re-design (a re-fresh) of the x0xlarge CPU upgrade.
The goal was to be recreated with a more modern and open EDA - KiCad.
Additionally, I wanted to make it nicely documented and DIY-friendly.
The x0xb0x project is largely about DIY, the CPU upgrade might look scary for people who haven’t dealt with surface-mount components.
Thus I also made a video of the complete manual assembly of the board with very inexpensive tools.
Don’t be scared, you can do it!
